Online self-paced course

Leading Positive Fatigue Management explores the key responsibilities and skills of leadership to influence a culture supportive of safety, wellbeing and professionalism in the context of fatigue management.

Description

As leaders, we are responsible for creating a culture where fatigue is openly discussed and proactively managed; it isn’t just about feeling tired—it’s a serious risk to safety, wellbeing, and productivity.

We need to be able to promote positive fatigue management practices, encourage adult-to-adult attitudes and behaviours, put controls in place to protect our people, and support them to access further health and wellbeing services when they need it.

This online course is designed to empower you to do all of the above. After completing Leading Positive Fatigue Management, you will be able to:

  • Understand fatigue types and causes, and how fatigue impacts the brain
  • Understand how to influence helpful fatigue management attitudes and behaviours in your team
  • Understand how to reinforce positive fatigue management behaviours through recognition
  • Know when and how to have fatigue-focused coaching conversations
Ready to start fostering a culture of shared responsibility for fatigue management within your teams?
