Emma Morgan

CONSULTANT

With more than 25 years of clinical and consulting experience, Emma brings deep psychological insight and frontline operational understanding to Sentis’s mission of changing the lives of individuals and organisations for the better.

Her career spans acute health, brain injury rehabilitation, employee assistance and onsite FIFO mining — translating evidence-based psychological practice into the language and rhythm of frontline work. Emma is also a co-founder of Plico Energy, which created Western Australia’s first community-scale virtual power plant and has since grown into a national renewable energy provider — giving her substantive cross-sector understanding of the energy and utility industries, along with significant business development experience. In 2024 Emma was recognised by North Metro Health Service with the Improving Consumer Experience Award for her work responding to the genuine needs of clients and consumers.

Over the last two years, Emma has been embedded onsite at a major Australian mining operation in the Pilbara, working alongside operators, supervisors and senior leaders to address the psychosocial pressures of FIFO life. This work has cemented her conviction that psychology and safety are not adjacent disciplines but foundational to each other — particularly in the high-demand, high-consequence environments where Sentis’s clients operate. Emma is passionate about making sophisticated psychological concepts genuinely useful at a 5:30am prestart on swing — practical, credible, and tailored to the realities of the people doing the work.

Emma has completed a Bachelor of Social Work, and she is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AASW) and Mental Health First Aid Instructor.
