Greg brings over 20 years of international experience in safety culture, behavioural safety, organisational change and leadership enablement across high-risk industries, including mining, construction, infrastructure, telecommunications, petrochemicals, cementitious operations and agriculture. His work has covered underground and surface mining, quarrying, heavy industry and multinational operating environments across Africa, Australia, Europe, North America and Central Asia.
As an Associate Consultant supporting Sentis project delivery, Greg contributes practical field experience in translating behavioural science, high-reliability organising, resilience engineering and neuroscience-informed safety concepts into work that leaders and frontline teams can apply. His approach complements Sentis’ focus on strengthening safety leadership, decision quality, personal ownership and sustainable culture change.
Greg has designed and implemented safety leadership, behaviour-based safety, culture diagnostic and risk communication programmes for clients including Anglo American, Glencore, Samancor Chrome, Assmang, Murray & Roberts Power and Energy, PPC, Afrisam, Debswana, Kumtor Gold, AngloGold Ashanti and Tongaat Hulett Sugar. He has also supported enterprise risk management learning through the University of Pretoria and facilitated risk management courses for Glencore Ferro Alloys middle managers.
Across client engagements, Greg works comfortably from executive level through to frontline teams, helping leaders convert complex risk, culture and human performance concepts into visible routines, sharper conversations and practical operating disciplines. His strengths include facilitation, field coaching, culture maturity assessment, leadership visit design, critical control thinking and safety storytelling.
